Passengers are survivors you pick up to transport onboard your train.
As the leader of this entire band, you are responsible for keeping their health and hunger meters up using medicine and food respectively, and you will have rewards if they reach their stations safely.
While sitting in the carriage, passengers will have conversations, provide lots of information about this country and Visitations.

The Only Traitor DLC[ | ]
Passengers take on a more hands-on role in the DLC. It is no longer required to actively care for them and they will instead serve the player in crafting and healing while keeping you company. There are no rewards for delivering them to your ultimate destination, but their different stats determine their usefulness during the journey there, so keep an eye out for those while recruiting.
